What is BookClubPayments?
BookClubPayments is a secure online payment platform designed specifically for book club agents and their customers. It allows customers to pay for their book club orders using credit or debit cards, and instantly receive a payment voucher to give to their agent.
Where can I find my agent code?
Your agent code is printed on your book club order form. It's usually displayed prominently at the top or bottom of the form. If you can't find it, contact your book club representative directly and they'll be happy to provide it.
How long does the payment process take?
The payment process is instant. Once your payment is successfully processed, you'll immediately receive a confirmation email with your payment voucher. The entire process typically takes less than 2 minutes.
Payment & Security
Is my payment secure?
Yes, absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment processors. Your payment information is:
- Encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology
- Never stored on our servers
- PCI DSS compliant
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa and Mastercard. Both credit cards and debit cards can be used for payment.
Do you store my card details?
No, we never store your card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe's secure servers. We only receive confirmation that your payment was successful.
What if my payment fails?
If your payment fails, you'll receive an immediate error message explaining the issue. Common reasons include insufficient funds, incorrect card details, or your card issuer declining the transaction. You can try again with a different payment method, or contact your bank for more information.
Vouchers & Orders
How do I get my voucher?
After your payment is successfully processed, you'll immediately receive an email containing your payment voucher. The voucher includes all the details of your payment and a unique code.
How do I give the voucher to my agent?
Simply print the voucher from your email and give it to your agent along with your order form. Your agent will use the voucher code to confirm your payment. Alternatively, you can show the digital voucher on your phone or tablet.
I didn't receive my voucher email. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk mail folder. If you still can't find it, contact our support team at support@bookclubpayments.co.uk with your payment details, and we'll resend your voucher immediately.
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies are determined by individual book club agents. If you need a refund, please contact your agent directly. They will process any approved refunds through our system.
Can I purchase multiple vouchers at once?
Yes, you can select multiple items and different values when making your payment. Your voucher will show the total amount and all items included in your order.
